Henry is the Senior Advisor of Customer Data and Optimization. He’s helping Service Year Alliance make data-informed decisions, and measuring and optimizing the Service Year recruitment initiatives to movement building activities in the field.
Henry was previously Communications Manager at SolarCity, the largest solar energy services provider in the US. Prior to SolarCity, he worked on various projects for organizations including Avaaz, TaskRabbit and CODEPINK.
Henry’s previously held roles in software, nonprofit, and political organizations. He worked as a field organizer in Barack Obama’s re-election campaign in 2012 and subsequently as a senior organizer for NationBuilder - a community organizing software company. A dual US/British citizen, he’s also worked in the UK volunteering sector.
Between school and university, he served as a volunteer English teacher in rural Peru. He holds an MA in Political Science from the University of Edinburgh.
In his free time, Henry likes to ride bikes, travel, and go camping.
