Come down to Darden Mill to show your support for service years! We will be there from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, May 20 to discuss organizing a Service Year Alliance team in West Virginia.

Service Year Alliance is an organization relentlessly pursuing a bold vision — making a year of service a common expectation and opportunity for all young Americans. With the new Administration moving to eliminate the budget for national service and AmeriCorps, as well as many other service-based programs, it is essential that we make our voices heard and show the positive benefit that service years have both for those that do them and the communities where they serve.

Whether you participated in a national service program like Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, or YouthBuild (among others), are interested in doing a service year in the future, or you just want to support the programs — all are welcome to come and learn a little more about what Service Year Alliance is and how you can get involved.
