Christian served with AmeriCorps in Billings, MT; Boston, MA; and Buffalo, NY. He currently works as an attorney with the New York State Department of Health - Division of Legal Affairs, where he provides legal counsel to the State's Medicaid program. His service year opened up his worldview and understanding of the public health challenges across the nation.

Outside of work, Christian volunteers with the American Red Cross to coordinate response teams with persons affected by disasters.
