Demi Trimm served with AmeriCorps through City Year Miami, where she worked as a Team Leader and Student Success Coach supporting student achievement and engagement. She currently serves as a Grants and Programs Associate on her home island of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, where she advances community impact through grantmaking and scholarship initiatives that benefit the territory. Her service year challenged her to think beyond individual impact and examine how systems, resources, and relationships shape community outcomes. 

Outside of her professional work, Demi is pursuing her master’s degree at the University of the Virgin Islands. She enjoys spending time at the beach and with her friends and family.
