Ellie served as an AmeriCorps volunteer in the Federal Way Public School District in Washington State where she worked in a high school civics class for multi-lingual learners and an after school program for elementary schoolers. 

Ellie now works in philanthropy ensuring high-quality data reaches the communities it’s meant to serve — building systems, partnerships, and tools that connect research and funding to community needs and expand opportunity from the ground up.

Ellie’s service year gave her both a north star and a challenge she brings to every room she’s in: are we using the best evidence available, and is our work genuinely moving the needle for the communities we serve?

Outside of work, Ellie spends her time chasing her two toddlers through parks and playgrounds in Seattle.
