Griff served two years in AmeriCorps NCCC. First, as a corps member at the Vinton, Iowa campus, and then, as a Team Leader at the former Perry Point, Maryland campus. Following those two years, Griff served as an AmeriCorps VISTA, where he developed educational curriculum and established community partnerships for the California Conservation Corps in Watsonville, California.

Griff now works as Counsel to the Judiciary Committee in the California State Assembly, where he analyzes bills and works with stakeholders to amend bills for passage. His passion for public service and making the world a better place grew from his first service experience with AmeriCorps.

In his downtime, Griff enjoys spending time with his family (dogs included) and being a big movie nerd.
