Matthew served with City Year Boston, at an under-resourced elementary school supporting student learning in the classroom, afterschool enrichment programs, and running vacation camps for students in the school district. He now serves students as the Chief Student Affairs Officer at a small, rural university working to support students both academically and socially through leading initiatives for student success, student resources, and student activities for all students on campus.

Matthew uses the skills and experience they gained through their service year to serve in school districts and universities to help students achieve their goals. The opportunity provided through his service inspired him to be the resource he never had for the students he serves. A proud father of two incredible daughters, Matthew enjoys traveling whenever he can.
