From 2002 to 2004, Shannon Stober served two terms as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Prevention Resource Center in Montana, focusing on positive youth development. She went on to build a career in nonprofit and National Service leadership, including roles with the Montana Governor’s Office of Community Service, Montana Campus Compact, and Montana Conservation Corps. 

Shannon is now a leadership development professional working across the country and across sectors through her company, Jump Start Training & Development. Her service years shaped her commitment to personal transformation through civic participation, and the belief that authenticity, agency, and audacity are essential to how people show up in their communities and create meaningful change. 

Outside of work, you can find her doing all the things Montanans do, including camping, fishing, riding horses, and hooting and hollering about life, leadership, and whatever else comes up.
