Cindy Greenberg
President & CEO, Repair the World
Cindy Greenberg is President & CEO of Repair the World, leading the Jewish service movement. For Cindy, service is a powerful expression of Jewish identity - building vibrant Jewish life rooted in purpose and learning, while also driving meaningful social impact.
Cindy believes that service and caring for the vulnerable are not just Jewish values, but the central narrative of the Jewish people. That conviction has shaped her leadership journey from launching Repair the World NYC, where she built a robust model of Jewish service in partnership with communities in Central Brooklyn and Harlem, to guiding thousands of students during fifteen years at Hillel, including as executive director of NYU's Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life.
Cindy holds an MPA from NYU's Wagner School and has been recognized with the Schusterman Fellowship, the Shirley Chisholm Women of Excellence Award, the Bed Stuy Campaign Against Hunger Harvest Heroes Award, and Hillel's Richard M. Joel Exemplar of Excellence Award.
She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Dan, their three children, and two rescue dogs.
