Join us for another session of writing letters to our representatives, to be delivered while they are in Connecticut during the upcoming recess. Snacks will be provided — please feel free to bring a pot-luck dish to share!

This event is intended for AmeriCorps alumni, Senior Corps volunteers, and friends of national service from across the state of Connecticut. We would LOVE to get participation from every legislative district so that we can ensure all of our representatives know what service means to Connecticut residents.

Thank you to Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven for hosting us in the Energy Conservation Lab! There is a small free parking lot (which should be near-empty by 6:00pm) and additional free street parking is usually available on both Sherman Avenue and Hudson Street.

NOTE: Due to the nature of this event, we unfortunately do NOT recommend current service year corps members attend. If you are a current corps member and wish to participate, please contact your program manager or director beforehand to receive guidance and her or his approval.
