Please join the Service Year Alliance NYC Chapter on Saturday, May 20th for a service event hosted by the New York Restoration Project, as we help bring the Decatur Community Garden back to life and learn a little more about what Service Year Alliance is and how you can get involved.
The "Twigs and Swigs" event is at the Decatur Community Garden on 1052 Decatur Street, Brooklyn and includes a happy hour as well. From 1-3pm we will be helping to fix the garden up as it gets ready to re-open after two years, and from 3-4pm there will be a happy hour sponsored by Bronx Brewery! There are only 35 spots open.
The New York Restoration Project is a group dedicated to creating and improving New York's public spaces. This event will be a great way to network with service year alum while spending the afternoon outdoors.
