It's been an incredibly busy December for Service Year Alliance — we are moving to a brand new office, prepping for the new Congress and Administration, and kicking off some awesome new initiatives in early 2017.
Before we sign off for the holidays, we pulled together some of the most powerful service year stories that paint an amazing picture of what service year corps members are up to this holiday season.
So, as you hop in the car to travel home for the holidays or wait in line at airport security, take a few minutes and check out all of the incredible ways that service year corps members are bringing joy to local communities. From fighting hunger in Durham to replanting trees after last year's fire in Oregon, service year corps members are making a tremendous impact in communities across the country with programs like AmeriCorps, Playworks, FEMA Corps, and AmeriCorps NCCC, to name a few!
